Too much high nitrogen material will "spoil" and cause the sourness. Add some more carbon (browns) such as dead leaves, dry grass and weeds. Also, aerating the compost by turning it more often will help.

dump it out in yard and let the sun completely dry it out
add some shredded paper and if possible leave the lid off on sunny days for a while. good luck.
