This is a fun project for my kids and it is a great way
to reduce kitchen waste. There is no stinky mess thus far so we have
kept it right in the kitchen. Best to buy worms cheap at a bait shop.
If you have a paper shredder you can feed it a bunch of news paper
to make the bedding rather then buying bedding (it comes with enough
bedding to get two trays started). The company was offering a free rake
with the coupon code but neglected to include in the shipment. I called and they sent one right away. Very nice and personable help over the phone with questions. Easy set up - sturdy enough and a good price.

I am very pleased with my composter

I received my composter several days after I ordered it... great timing. The directions for assembling were easy. The system is up and running and I am very pleased. I have the composter in the kitchen, so far no bugs, smells or attraction for my dogs. It is winter in Vermont, so the temperatures are cool and exposure to outside is low. When it gets warmer I will move the composter in the basement then outside.
The worms are working hard and the worm castings are perfect.
Great Gusanito Factory of Worms

The first shipment had damaged goods. The company was very good to work with in replacing shipment. I took pics of the damaged factory and box and emailed them in. I was told I did not need to mail back the broken one, but to contact Fed Ex. I did and was told to send pkg back via Fed Ex. I did. Then received letter from Fed Ex saying it was not damaged and would not be covered by Fed Ex. I have not received any other info. I emailed company & reported news of the letter of denial. Have not heard back nor have I been charged for 2nd one from the company. The pics could be sent to Fed Ex for proof. The Factory is GREAT! Happiest worms in all of Georgia. Producing worm tea and eating and composting very well. I am extremely pleased with product and results. Recommend buying it sooner than later. I had wanted it for a few years and it is an extreme improvement over my worms in a 5 gallon bucket! You will enjoy it for compost materials and happy worms for fishing with too, very easy to access for either need.
Fun Project

I love using the worm castings in my organic gardening. This is a great way to get rid of your kitchen waste. My onlyu complaint is that it takes 3 hands to feed the worms. Two to lift the trays and 1 to put the scraps in. You can't just set down the trays because of the worms and stuff hanging down on the bottom...so you need to have someone else to help woth the feeding.
Great Customer Service

There was some damage to the plastic in shipping due to insufficient packaging and poor quality control in that one of the screws had NO threads on it. However, the supplier responded extremely quickly with replacement parts. My worms are loving it!
